Abstract

The aim of this study is to compute damped eigenfrequencies and modes of a vibroacoustic interior problem with fluid-structure coupling. Damping is introduced using a sandwich structure with viscoelastic core. In this paper, the coupled problem is solved by a High Order Newton (HON) solver, based on homotopy and perturbation techniques. Thus, the initial non-linear problem is turned into a set of linear algebraic systems, easier to solve. Comparison of the results obtained by the HON solver with those obtained by the Newton classical method highlights the efficiency of the proposed method. Finally, the mechanical behavior of the coupled damped problem is studied.
