Abstract
قامت فكرة البحث على دراسة وتحقيق أول أربع آيات من سورة البقرة وكان الهدف الرئيس من البحث هو حل عقد وإشكالات في تفسير الكشاف، أما منهج الدراسة وطبيعتها فقد كان المنهج الوصفي للحياة الشخصية والعلمية للمؤلف، والمنهج الاستقرائي بالحصول على المخطوط ونسخه، وبيان مصادر المؤلف ومراجعه، وتمثلت محاور البحث الرئيسية في مقدمة ومبحثين وخاتمة، واستنتجت من ذلك بأن الفاضل اليمني قد أجاب في حاشيته على الكشاف عن كثير من الإشكالات، وردَّ على بعض الحواشي رداً علمياً يدل على مدى اطلاعه وغزارة علمه، وهو يدلل على ذلك من كلام العرب والشواهد الشعرية.
