Study for childbearing age women's knowledge on AIDS and its multi-variable influence factor

Abstract

Objective To investigate childbearing age women's knowledge on MDS and its muti-influence factor and provide science gist for AIDS intervening measure aiming at these women.Method A stratified multi-stage cluster sampling method was used.A total of 1041 women were investigated using one to one anonymous self-filling method in Hangzhou,Huzhou and Shaoxing in Zhejiang province.The investigation results were analyzed with stastics.Results Understanding rate of about AIDS knowledge:urban group Was 73.0%,rural group was 75.9% and flowing group was 64.9%.This results showed that culture level Was positive correlation with AIDS knowledge.The average score of AIDS knowledge:flowing population group had statistical difference with urban group and rural group(P＜0.01).AIDS knowledge score's multi-factor regression analysis:the standardized regression coefficient of childbearing women's month income was the highest(r=0.14,P＜0.01),the second Was their husbands' month income(r=0.11,P＜0.01),and the third Was their husbands' educational level(r=0.08,P＜0.05).The correlation analysis of information acquired approach and knowledge score:the most common way to acquire the knowledge about AIDS was through the newspaper and magazine(r=0.31,P＜0.01),the second was promotional pamphlet(r=0.20,P＜0.01)and companion educadon was thirdly(r=0.12,P＜0.01).Conclusions AIDS propagandize and education should put emphasis on flowing people,low-education level people,low-income childbearing couple and childbearing age women.The newspaper,magazines and promotional pamphlets are the most effective approaches to transmit AIDS knowledge,which propriety strengthen companion education and assorting telecast,lectures,consultation and community staff.
