Abstract

Our paper is focused on theoretical software used to discuss and study the moire wavelength and histogram with different spacing shift using MATLAB. A moire pattern is the interference of two similar overlapping patterns. There are many different situations in which you can notice moire patterns. For example, in the field of physics, and based on the principle of wave interference, the emergence of moire patterns in the tissue can be attributed to a phenomenon that occurs in multiple conditions of wave interference called the phenomenon of beat. Moire wavelengths with 0 and 0.2 spacing shift were studied in this research. By the distance between two consecutive, it is possible to determine the moire wavelength, where, when the fringe is bright, the interference is constructive and the consecutive is at its highest value, but when the fringe is dark, the interference is destructive and the consecutive is at its minimum value. Moire patterns and histograms with 0 and 0.2 spacing shift square grids were also studied. Image histogram is based on the luminance's frequency. The 'imread' function was used to load an image, and the 'imhist' function was used then to display the image histogram.
