Abstract

In the last chapter, several work environment perceptions as important determinants of Innovation Contest success could be verified. In particular, the existence of encouragement and support both by the entire organization (organizational encouragement) and by the direct superior (supervisory encouragement) were shown to have a strong influence on both employees’ motivation and their affective organizational commitment as important personal attitudes and finally, on employees’ participation intention for firm internal Innovation Contests.
