Abstract

In the chapter 3, the conceptualization and execution of the first study of work environment perceptions and their impact on participation in Innovation Contests is presented. For this empirical investigation of the influence of work environment perceptions as a determinant of employees’ motivation, affective organizational commitment, and participation intention, the use of a web survey and multi-variate data analysis methods (exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, and moderation and mediation analysis) are presented.
