Abstract

This article examines the impact of micropolar fluids on the squeeze film lubrication between rough porous curved annular plates. The mean squeeze film pressure, mean load bearing capacity, and squeezing time film are evaluated for two forms of rough surface patterns (radial and azimuthal) by deriving the stochastic Reynolds equation. The squeeze film properties are found to decrease (increase) the radial (azimuthal) roughness patterns.
