Abstract

The flotation behaviour of a complex non-ferrous slag, which contained tin, lead and copper, as well as willemite, galena and sphalerite, associated with oxidic and siliceous gangue, was investigated. A sulphidization flotation flowsheet producing collective tin-lead-copper and willemite concentrates was developed. The surface chemical changes during the processing were interpreted on the basis of XPS measurements.
