Abstract

Thermoanalytical techniques have been used to study the decomposition of double selenate hydrates of samarium with sodium, potassium and ammonium. Interpreting the results obtained, the mechanisms of decomposition have been proposed. The decompositions of non-hydrates of alkali-metal salts exhibit close similarity.
