Abstract

SUMMARY Two interesting new species [Myriochile (Monelica) cornusafricae n. sp. and Cylindera (Eugrapha)? inopinata n.sp.], as well as a new subspecies of a previously poorly collected species [Myriochile (Monelica) respiciens (W. Horn) ssp. septentrionalis nov.], are described from northern Somalia. The generic attribution of inopinata n.sp. (which is represented by a single female only, showing rather aberrant characters) is considered to need further confirmation, based on a study of the male genitalia.
