Abstract

Hisotchemical investigation of tissue changes accompanying atrophic and metaplastic changes of chronic gastritis resulted in the detection of pathological characteristics to a certain extent, which biochemically were correlated with the mucopolysaccharide changes detectable as the changes of protein-bound hexose and other components of sialomucin and fucomucin.
