Abstract

The 2212 BiSrCaCuO single crystals prepared by the flux-growth method are studied. It is found that crystals obtained with the R2O3 (R=Gd, Dy, Eu) addition contain different phase layers with the fixed R-content values. The transition temperatures of these phases is determined. The magnetic properties are measured using the diamagnetic shielding method. The real χ′ and imaginary χ″ parts of complex susceptibility, low critical field Hc1 and critical current densities are found. The Hc1 depends linearly on temperature T in a wide T range. The jc values are similar to those obtained by direct measurements.
