Abstract

This article addresses the functioning of students with ADHD at university. Every year the University of Warsaw is recruiting more and more ADHD students who have to find themselves in the higher education system in classes among those who are not affected by this disorder while also fulfilling the same programme of studies. A case study was conducted on the basis of an interview with a student diagnosed at the age of adulthood showing her day-to-day operation at university in order to prepare a preliminary report on the difficulties and challenges posed by ADHD students of applied linguistics.
