Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dibuat untuk menganalisis prediksi mahasiswa dalam memilih program studi Matematika di FKIP dan FMIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala. Data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini didapat dari mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FKIP dan Matematika FMIPA USK masing-masing 20 mahasiswa. Data diperoleh setelah menyebarkan kuisioner yang dibuat dalam bentuk google form. Kemudian, data yang didapat dikategorikan berdasarkan : Kemampuan menjelaskan ilmu yang dimiliki kepada orang lain (X1), Kemampuan beradaptasi di lingkungan baru (X2), Memiliki pola pikir rasional (X3), Memiliki pola pikir terstruktur (X4), Mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok (X5), Komunikatif (X6), Interpersonal (X7), Memahami konsep matematika dan mampu menerapkannya pada cabang ilmu lain (X8), Memiliki ketarampilan menganalisa soal (X9), Tertarik dalam mengamati dan memecahkan masalah baru (X10), Percaya diri saat bekerja sendiri (X11), Memiliki kemampuan meneliti hal baru (X12), Memiliki kemampuan berhitung yang baik (X13), Senang melakukan riset (X14), Senang bekerja sendiri (X15), Memiliki kemampuan mengambil kesimpulan dengan tepat (X16). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat faktor-faktor yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi penyebab pemilihan program studi Matematika di FKIP dan FMIPA di Universitas Syiah Kuala.Kata Kunci:Prediksi, Memilih, Matematika.ABSTRACTThis research was created to analyze students' predictions in choosing a Mathematics study program at FKIP and FMIPA at Syiah Kuala University.
