Abstract

Abstract Public relations is a growing field of study in post-secondary education. Many scholars and industry professionals have perceived a less-than-desirable quality of writing in students and entry-level workers. However, there has been little proposed with regard to pedagogical solutions or treatments. This study analyses the use of learning logs to teach public relations writing. Public relations students at a Canadian university were asked to maintain learning logs during a writing class and to provide feedback on their perceptions of the tool's usefulness to their learning.
