Abstract
As a major interest group in the process of tourism development, community participation in tourism development has been recognized and studied by many scholars. By implementing the research instruments of literature review and expert interviews, this study analyzes relevant factors of influencing community members' interests. On this basis, we weighting the various indicators of the assignment by the Analytic Hierarchy Process and build a community members' interests appraisal model of community participation in tourism development. Drawing a conclusion: community members' economic interests take the important position in this model and the weight is 0.422; community members' environment interests take second place and it weight is 0.355; socialization influence takes third place and it weight is 0.223. The above conclusion can provide some guidelines for community members' interests distribution of community participation in tourism development.
