Abstract
The article examines the structure of the development of professional competencies of energy engineers in the process of training in general professional disciplines, studying at the Surgut State University at the Department of Radioelectronics and Electric Power Engineering in the direction of training (specialty) 13.03.02 "Electric power and electrical engineering" orientation (profile) "Electric power systems and networks". A model of a set of competencies in 17 disciplines that are studied in the first, second and third year of university is presented.
