Abstract
The electromagnetic structure functionsF2(ζ) for deep inelastic electron-proton scattering are calculated for the most general second order wave equation constructed on an irreducible fermion representation space of the Lorentz group extended by parity. The results show scaling and a realistic size of the physical particles but a strong unphysical part due to spacelike solutions.
