Abstract

The article shows the possibility of obtaining a high-quality porous material with high physical and mechanical properties based on local clay raw materials and man-made waste. The influence of chemical industry waste ― phosphogypsum and alkaline waste of soda production ― on the mechanism of mineral formation and pore formation during the synthesis of lightweight material was studied. It has been established that the used waste accelerates the swelling process during firing, reducing the swelling temperature by 30‒50 o C, while obtaining a durable porous material. Ill. 3. Ref. 20.
