Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of the first porous zirconium oxo-phosphate material structured on the nanoscale with a cubic Ia3d symmetry is described. The new ordered porous material was obtained in aqueous solution by the self-assembly of a simple cationic surfactant combined with the inorganic zirconium sulfate precursor. The cubic zirconium oxo-phosphate was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), high resolution electron microscopy (HREM), N 2 sorption and FTIR spectroscopy.
