Abstract

Colloidal Quantum Dot Photovoltaics In article number 2203749, Edward H. Sargent, Hyosung Choi, and co-workers demonstrate a random-oriented, but closed-packed organic bulk heterojunction structure realized by solvent selection and compositional design. This enables excellent vertical charge conduction and ultrafast hole funneling that minimizes recombination. By integrating the film as a hole transport layer, high-performance colloidal quantum dot photovoltaics are demonstrated.
