Abstract

Significant use of drugs and spread of drug abuse require the necessity to study the effect of narcotic substances on the structural organization of organs and systems. With the aim to investigate the peculiarities of angioarchitectonics of the cerebellar cortex of rats caused by 2- and 4-week injection of an opioid, particularly nalbuphine, examination of 20 mature albino male rats aged 3.0 – 3.5 months and body weight 160-180 g has been conducted. The methods of vascular bed injection, histological, morphometric and statistical methods have been applied. Morphometric analysis of the hemomicrocirculation links of the cerebellar cortex in rats enabled to estimate the degree of its vascularization under conditions of 2- and 4-week injection of nalbuphine. The results obtained are indicative of the relationship between the depth of cerebellar cortex structural transformations and morphometric indices of the hemomicrocirculatory bed.
