Abstract

This study analyses the effect of structural dimension of social capital on the performance of small and medium manufacturing enterprises in Lagos and Oyo states, Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design, and data was collected with the aid of structured questionnaire, copies of which were administered to 914 purposively selected out 3200 manufacturing SMEs in Lagos and Oyo States, Nigeria. Multi-Linear Regression was used to analyse the effect of structural dimension of social capital on performance of the manufacturing SMEs. Findings showed that there is a positive relationship between structural dimension of social capital and manufacturing SMEs performance (p=0.000). The result further showed that structural dimension (p<0.05) has a statistically significant effect on manufacturing SMEs performance.
