Abstract
Silver doped (La0.80Sr0.20)1-xAgxMnO3{x = 0.15 and 0.20} solid solutions has been synthesized by the use of solid state reaction method. Sample pellets has been calcined and then sintered at temperature 1400 0C and then characterized to study structural, dielectric and conductive properties. XRD analysis confirmed the single phase as well as crystalline size in nanometer of the material. In addition to this material showed tensile strain. Morphology has been studied by the use of scanning electron microscope. Density of the peroveskite has been found to be decreased with Silver substitution. Impedance analyzer has been used to determine the dielectric and conductive properties of the material which confirmed non-Debye behaviour of the material. Decrease in activation energy confirms the increases in conductivity value with Silver modification.
