Abstract

Throughout the ages, the building instability damage events caused by the earthquake are numerous. With the increase of the height and volume of the modern architectural structure, the seismic force of the building gradually increases. In order to avoid severe earthquake disaster, to ensure the stability of high-rise buildings and the life safety of people in the buildings, the seismic design has become a crucial factor in the design and analysis of building structures. In the conventional structural design, the response of the building structure under the action of earthquake is usually reduced by increasing the stiffness of the structure, etc., which is often of high cost and not obvious in practical application, and cannot fundamentally improve the seismic capacity of the structure. On the basis of existing research on super-tall twin towers conjoined construction carries on the theoretical model and physical model is made, at the same time, a kind of vibration absorber with energy dissipation and shock absorption function is designed and applied reasonably. By the movement of additional weights, the vibration amplitude of the main structure of the building can be slowed down to a certain extent, and the use of shaking table test on vibration absorber which is used to high-rise contour analysis and verification of the bearing capacity of the twin towers conjoined buildings model, so as to improve the seismic behavior of the building itself. It makes a certain contribution to put forward the innovative and practical research and design ideas in the seismic design of super high-rise buildings with twin towers.
