Abstract

In recent years, with the height and volume of structures increasing, seismic design has become a key factor in structural analysis. In conventional structural design, methods such as increasing the structural stiffness are usually used to reduce the response of the structure to earthquakes. These practices are often costly, and the actual application effect is not obvious, which cannot fundamentally improve the seismic performance of the structure. In this paper, based on the existing research, the theoretical model and physical production of the twin towers with vibration absorbers are carried out, and the important role of vibration absorbers in seismic design is studied in depth.
