Abstract

The article deals with the modernization of the professional training of specialists in physical education and sports. The problem of the readiness of future specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities is relevant for modern society, since the presence or absence of this readiness determines whether a graduate will work after graduation from a higher educational institution in the field of physical recreation. The purpose of the work is to identify and characterize the structural components of the readiness of future specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities. Objectives of the study: 1) to identify the main structural components of the readiness of future specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and healt-related activities; 2) to reveal the essence of the readiness components of future specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities. The following research methods are used to solve the tasks: analysis and systematization of psychological and pedagogical literature sources, special literature on physical culture and Internet information resources; abstracting, logical and theoretical analysis. Analysis and synthesis of scientific literature data and practical experience of training specialists in physical education and sports allowed to determine the structural components of the readiness of future specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities, namely, motivational-value, cognitive and emotional-volitional. It has been discovered substructure of each component of readiness. Their interconnection and interdependence have been indicated. It has been pointed out that studying the readiness structure could influence the level of formation of each of the components and would facilitate the training of highly qualified specialists in physical education and sports. Thus, the readiness of a future specialist in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities is an integrative personal quality that includes motivational-value, cognitive, procedural and emotional-volitional components. Each of the readiness components has its own substructure to be described in the article. It has been established that all of these readiness components are interrelated and interdependent. The purposeful impact upon each individual component will increase the level of general professional readiness of future specialists in physical education and sports for recreation and health-related activities.
