Abstract
The conditions for contact interaction of mating parts in interference fit joints are considered. It is shown that the main factor determining the strength and tightness of joints is the state of the surface layer. Ways are established to control the performance of joints with an interference fit by using surfactants, both in the technological preparation of parts before assembly, and in the assembly of joints. Keywords: contact interaction of surfaces, real contact area, joint tightness, influence of surfactants. kurnosov-ne@mail.ru
