Abstract

Vacuum-Evaporated Mixed-Halide Perovskite Layers In article number 2200482, Ashok Vaseashta and co-workers investigate the structural and optical properties of mixed-halide perovskite layers deposited on black silicon by sequential and co evaporation methods. The black silicon is formed using plasma reactive ion etching. The authors demonstrate a significant reduction in the reflection of the perovskite layers. This is achieved without compromising the structural quality of the perovskite layer as a photoabsorber. The results confirm the promise of using black silicon for perovskitesilicon tandem junction solar cells.
