Abstract

Nanocrystalline of SnO2 was developed by precipitation method. The crystalline structure and magnetic parameter values of the SnO2 material modulate on increasing the calcined temperatures ranging from 450 to 650 °C were evidenced by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), and High Temperature-Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (HT-VSM) measurements. Both SnO2 calcined samples exhibit spherical morphology through confirmed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis displayed spherical particles with average grain sizes of 5–10 nm for SnO2 calcined at 650 °C. In the VSM measurements, the ferromagnetism response of SnO2 was noticed at temperatures of 450 and 650 K.
