Abstract

Highly crystalline powders of modified BaTiO 3 have been prepared by high-energy ball milling. The powder mixture was ball milled for 2 h at 300 rpm. Microstructure characterization of all the ball-milled powder mixtures was done by analyzing the X-ray powder diffraction data. The diffracted intensity depends on several factors which are geometric in nature, and gives a lot of information about the samples. In this study the variations of microstructure imperfection are reported with variation in Ca substitution.
