Abstract

In this paper we propose definitions of strong controllability and extendibility for discrete multidimensional behaviors. After characterizing extendibility in algebraic terms, we show that strong controllability is equivalent to simultaneous controllability and extendibility, thus obtaining an algebraic characterization for that property.
