Abstract
Stroke and Bleeding in Atrial Fibrillation with Chronic Kidney Disease Original Article, N Engl J Med 2012;367:625-635. In the first paragraph of the introduction (page 626), the penultimate sentence should have ended, “. . . and the prevalence of end-stage renal disease increases from approximately 0.28% among persons 45 to 64 years of age to 0.41% among those 75 years of age or older,” rather than “. . . from approximately 3.5% among persons 45 to 64 years of age to nearly 6% . . . .” We regret the error. The article is correct at NEJM.org.
