Abstract

A rigorous method of moments solutions for a stripline-fed cylindrical slot antenna is presented. The effects of the feeding parameters on the input impedance and far-field pattern are discussed. It is found that a cylindrical slot antenna can be matched to a 50-Ω stripline by displacing the slot from the axis of the feedline. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
