Abstract

The main loads acting on the anvils of installation of the combined process of continuous casting and deformation during the production of steelcopper three-layer bimetallic strips are described. The method for determining of the temperature and thermoelastic stresses in anvils of installation using the ANSYS package is presented. The boundary conditions for determining of the temperature fi elds in anvils of the installation during the production of copper—steel—copper bimetal is described. The regularities of the distribution in anvils of temperature and thermoelastic stresses during reduction of steelcopper bimetallic ingot and at idle are presented. The values and regularities in the distribution of total stresses from the reduction force and thermal loads when producing steelcopper three-layer bimetallic strips on installation of the combined process of continuous casting and deformation are given.
