Abstract

Physical and emotional stressors can both precipitate acute stress cardiomyopathy. International data suggest respiratory disease triggers a minority of cases and is associated with worse prognosis. The aim of this study was to describe the association between acute and chronic respiratory disease and stress cardiomyopathy in an Australian cohort.
