Abstract: This is an interview with Katherine McKittrick, Canada Research Chair in Black Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists program. McKittrick discusses Demonic Grounds , her pathbreaking study of Black women’s geographies, on the advent of the twentieth anniversary of its publication.
