Abstract

Against the backdrop of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change, China has seen the rapid development of new types of consumption characterized by new forms and modes of business, such as online shopping, mobile payment, and the integration of online and offline, which have played an important role in meeting the needs of residents' lives and releasing consumption potential. Consumption is currently the most important engine for China's economy to expand domestic demand and promote economic growth, and the new consumption habits of residents generated by the epidemic in recent years indicate that China's residents are in an upgrading stage of their consumption concepts and methods. The membership-based business model of warehouse-type membership stores will further promote residents' consumption and upgrading, and the warehouse-type membership stores will also benefit from it.
