Abstract
In recent years, the rapidly changing Arctic with melting ice and new discoveries of rich deposits has increasingly attracted the attention of the state and business. The transition to clean energy stimulates the growing demand for the most important metals, which are rich in the Arctic subsoil. The warming climate in the Arctic greatly facilitates the extraction of important mineral resources and the search for new deposits. The article shows the vital role that the Arctic Zone of Russia (AZRF) currently plays and will play in the future in the production and supply of strategic types of minerals and metals.
