Abstract

This research aims to determine strategies for resolving bad credit and the impact on financial performance at PT. Bank BPD Papua Jayapura. The focus of this research is the strategy for resolving bad credit at the Jayapura branch of Bank Papua. Data collection techniques use observation techniques, annual report analysis and documentation. The data collected is processed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research indicate that resolving bad credit can be done by credit recovery and credit settlement. The impact that bad credit will have on financial performance is the lack of smooth cash turnover at the bank and will also affect Non-Performing Loans (NPL). So if bad credit increases, it will affect financial performance, namely decreasing profits.
