Abstract

Education is something that is done to improve the quality and continuous development in all aspects of human life. In addition, education is also a process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people with the intention of maturing humans through the process of teaching and training. The process of learning in the education system is not only to increase the ability of students but also aims to make students become individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have good character based on Pancasila as the basis of the state and the philosophy of life of the Indonesian nation as in accordance with strengthening Pancasila student profile. One of the schools that has implemented the Pancasila student profile and has implemented the program for students is SMAN 2 Gadingrejo. The research method in this study uses a qualitative approach and by using a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 2 subjects, namely: teachers and students as well as data analysis and data collection in this study through observation and interviews. The results obtained from this study that Pancasila Students are the embodiment of Indonesian students as lifelong students who have global competence, character and behave in accordance with Pancasila values, with six elements or dimensions, namely (a) faith, fear of God Almighty, and good character. noble, (b) global diversity, (c) mutual cooperation, (d) independent, (e) critical reasoning, and (f) creative. At SMAN 2 Gading Rejo, he carried out a strategy to achieve strengthening the profile of Pancasila students through school culture or habituation in schools, intracurricular activities, extracurricular activities, and a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.
