<p><em>Strategy of ecotourism development research in </em><em>Subak</em><em> </em><em>Pacekan</em><em> </em><em>Kedewatan</em><em> </em><em>Village</em><em> </em><em>Ubud</em><em> </em><em>, Gianyar is about how to develop about rice field with the natural view. </em><em>Subak </em><em>Pacekan</em><em> </em><em>is a agriculture irrigation in Ubud exspecialy in Kedewatan is have not function maximaly for tourism but actually the case is </em><em>subak</em><em> </em><em>has potential as a tourism development </em><em>subak</em><em> </em><em>has potential as a tourism development </em><em>subak</em><em> </em><em>increase</em><em> </em><em>subak</em><em> </em><em>has potential as a tourism destination of ecotourism. Ecotourism actually the case is </em><em>subak</em><em> </em><em>has potential as a tourism destination of ecotourism. Ecotourism activity. Viewing of the conditions like this, it’s need the tourism destination. Ecotourism activity can be do at </em><em>Subak</em><em> </em><em>Pacekan is morning walk and education about agriculture. So that rice field in Ubud Area no more transformation of land expecially in Kedewatan Village.</em></p><p><em>The problems in this research are (1) What a potential Subak Pacekan has to be a ecotourism destination in Kedewatan Village Ubud City? (2) How the strength, weakness, opportunity, and the threat to development Subak Pacekan Kedewatan Village Ubud City? (3) How the strategy of ecotourism development in Subak Pacekan Kedewatan Village Ubud City?</em></p><p><em>The problems are solving by two theory. There are planning theory and Development tourism area theory. There the data use some data from observation method, interview, and documentation with descriptive method to draw an inference. The kind of this research is mix method and SWOT analysis with the EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) and IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary).</em></p><p><em>Subak Pacekan has natural potential and culture potential. Natural potential there are beautiful scene and irrigation system and culture potential is ceremony. From the potential can be get strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat to development Subak Pacekan as ecotourism. Strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat can be analysis with EFAS matrix (Eksternal Factor Analysis Summary) and IFAS matrix (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) until can get strategy of sustainable development. The Strategy are penetration marketing strategy and building character strategy.</em></p>
