Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to solve the problems faced by teachers in overcoming elementary school students with special needs, mentally disabled. The method used to train retarded students is to use the PQ4R strategy in learning Indonesian. This study is a study of the results of a library consisting of books and scientific journals as well as the and Observation to SD as supporting data. The results of this study revealed that the PQ4R method was effectively used to overcome specific learning problems in Indonesian language learning, namely Reading comprehension.
