Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the strategies, processes, and methods of learning Islamic religious education in the formation of religious character in early deaf adolescents at the Karya Dharma Wanita Foundation Special School 02 Tangerang City. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis with case study method. The technique of collecting data in this research is through observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results showed that the learning strategies of deaf children at Karya Dharma Wanita Foundation 02 Tangerang City were through cooperative learning (group learning), direct introduction (a direct approach step by step in the concept of material) and based learning (learning mentoring), as well as coaching and exemplary in religious character formation.
