Strategi Komunikasi pada Anak Autisme di Yayasan Kesehatan AKARI Anugerah Kasih Lestari Jakarta

Abstract

AKARI Anugerah Kasih Lestari Foundation is a foundation that handles children with autism in Indonesia, especially Jakarta, which uses the ABA method. The author has an interest and desire to analyze how the AKARI Anugerah Kasih Lestari Foundation carries out communication to children with autism and provides an overview of a better communication strategy for children with autism. The purpose of this research is to find out how the communication strategy to children with autism is appropriate at AKARI Anugerah Kasih Lestari Foundation. Communication strategy is a combination of communication planning with communication management. In this case the researcher wants to explain how the strategy in carrying out communication when finding facts, then making plans, implementing communication, and carrying out evaluations at the AKARI Anugerah Kasih Lestari Foundation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the results studied from observations, data studies, and interviews. The results obtained show that it is very important after finding facts, to make a proper plan by doing research first. After making careful planning, how is the implementation and evaluation given by parents as external to the AKARI Anugerah Kasih Lestari Foundation.
