Abstract

In the present work we analyze our theoretical investigation of various aspects of the random and aligned stopping power of hydrogen-dicluster H_2^+ moving in close but variable vicinity of each other in a dilute and dense stopping targets, which being modeled by a harmonic oscillator (HO) with generalized oscillator strength (GOS).This model combined with a free electron gas (FEG) using dielectric theory to calculate the energy loss function (ELF) of dense medium which treated by harmonic oscillator model. We have made comprehensive investigation of single and vicinage stopping power, and related quantities for hydrogen-dicluster ions H_2^+ in (C, Al, Ar and Xe) targets.
