Abstract

1. The author describes the development and experimental verification, with special reference to ZhS6KP structural creep-resisting nickel alloy, of the method of predicting the statistical sample of the creep curves for the arbitrary law of temperature-force loading on the basis of the equation of state of creep derived by I. I. Trunin using the Monte Carlo method on the basis of the determined distribution functions of the parameters of this equation. The data obtained in prediction can be used to determine the required probability characteristics of creep which are essential for engineering and design calculations for the reliable estimate of the service life of structural members operating in high-temperature creep conditions. The method greatly reduces the volume and duration of expensive long-term laboratory creep tests. 2. The developed packet of the applied programs make it possible to use this method for any other equation of state of creep and represents the general method of solving various applied problems of creep in probability formulation.
