Abstract
The ferroelectric response of nanocrystalline Pr1-xCaxMnO3 near half doping is discussed. The remanent electric polarization values indicate a stochastic behavior, which depend on measurements. Repetitive measurements and histogram analysis suggest, unique most probable value of remanent electric polarization below the charge ordering transition (TCO). Above TCO, polarization diminishes gradually suggesting a strong correlation between charge ordering and ferroelectricity.
