Abstract

Stimulated emission was obtained as a result of the B(1/2)?X2?+ transition in the XeF molecule after photodissociation of XeF2 by vacuum ultraviolet radiation emitted from an open high-current discharge in an XeF2?N2?Ar mixture. The duration of stimulated emission was ~2 ?sec and the output energy was ~10?3J.
