Abstract

Hosting internally displaced people (IDPs) may later on develop into frustration and animosity. To strengthen the chances for building back better, social work practice may mediate in these hosting arrangements to ensure a smooth and sustainable transition. This is perhaps an unexplored opportunity to step up social welfare services among people displaced by war.
